La Salle at Fordham

This is a lot of points to get with a hot LaSalle team in what is shaping up to be a huge defensive struggle. The total is very low here for a good reason. Not only are LaSalle and Fordham far more about defense than offense, but they each play at an extremely grind-out, slow tempo. So points will be at a premium. Fordham has won only one of its last seven games. The Rams have failed to score more than 63 points in four of their last five games. They are a terrible free-throw shooting team and rank near the bottom in three-point percentage, making less than 30% of their shots from beyond the arc. LaSalle has covered four of its last five games. The Explorers followed up an upset victory against St Bonaventure by knocking off 14-7 Dayton at home, 67-64, as a 10.5-point underdog in their last game a week ago.
