Deep tourney run for the Spiders last season, but a lot of key pieces missing despite a decent 6-3 start. The problem is they have won six games that they should have and lost three going away that they should have been more equipped to compete in. This team is down quite a bit from a year ago, but is still getting attention. Iona used to rule the Metro Atlantic, fell flat for a few years, and are now challenging for a top spot again this season. They had a big win at Denver, who is better than most think, and also on the road at State Joe's. They are equipped to handle the road as Scott Machado has a lot of weapons at the point and he is delivering over ten assists a game for the Gaels.
