Illinois State vs. USC

USC should win comfortably at home against Illinois State, but the Trojans aren't going to come anywhere close to scoring what they did this past Sunday against Manhattan at home. USC rolled past the Jaspers, 114-83. That was the most points the Trojans have scored since 1998. Now the Trojans get the Redbirds from the Missouri Valley Conference, a conference known for its defense and half-court style. Illinois State is holding foes to 68.5 points a game. That ranks 107th in the nation. The Redbirds have played against Cornell and Ohio, defeating Cornell 76-65 at home and losing to the Bobcats 72-68 on the road. The Redbirds held those two teams to a combined 17.9 percent from 3-point range. Only three teams in the nation have a better defensive percentage guarding the arc than Illinois State. Take the UNDER.
