Princeton is in great shape to defend its regular-season title even with only two starters returning because Tosan Evbuomwan, the Ivy League Player of the Year, returns after averaging 16.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 2021-22. Also, the Tigers can put teams away with their 3-point shooting and last year they made 10.9 per game from long range. The Tigers barely lost to Yale 66-64 in the conference tournament and they and Penn are the favorites to win it this season. Hofstra lost three starters and a few more transferred, but they do retain Aaron Estrada, who was the CAA leader in scoring and assists. The Pride was 21-11 in 2021-22 and finished the season on an 0-5 ATS run all as a favorite. Hofstra is a small underdog in tonight's matchup, but the Tigers' steady guard play plus the home court will be the difference. Take Princeton.
