Hofstra at Rider

Rider is playing its first home game following a three-game trip in which it lost all three and the Broncs are paying for losing four starters who were all among the top five scorers from last year's squad. Their top player, Stevie Jordan, is questionable with a leg injury for this game and the Broncs shot only 39.3 percent their last game against Robert Morris. Hofstra comes off an 85-84 win at Monmouth even though the Hawks shot a blistering 58.6 percent.  Hofstra normally allows a .478 field goal percentage and 76.8 points per game. Look for the Pride to play better defense in this matchup and both teams are shooting only 43 percent overall. Play the UNDER.
