Hawaii comes off a 70-62 overtime win over Colorado in a game in which neither time shot well. The Rainbow Warriors held on with Eddie Stansberry scoring a team-leading 18 points and Zigmars Raimo finishing with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Rhode Island lost to Bucknell and then came back and beat Charlotte 75-61 although the Rams failed to cover the closing line of 14.5. Rhode Island shot only 39.3 percent and was led by Fatts Russell with 20 points. The Rams are shooting only 41.0 percent on the season overall and just 24.5 percent from three-point range. This is a rebuilding year for the Rams and for first-year coach David Cox as they return only one starter in Jeff Dowtin. The Warriors have the home court edge, so take the points with Hawaii.
