Georgia Southern at Drake

Drake was the surprise of not only of the MVC last year, but in the country by taking a team projected to finish at or near the basement in the MVC to 28 wins and the NCAA Tournament. This is not the same Drake team as they are shooting just 44.9% as a team and scoring under 70 points per game. The Eagles have shown enough firepower to stay in this one as they are putting up over 71 ppg. In their last outing, they held Samford to 59 points and apparently have addressed some early-season defensive lapses. The leading scorer for Drake is shooting just 40% on the season and that means a lot of empty trips. Getting over a big number against a team that has shown the ability to score may be too much to ask. I'll ride with the Eagles and the points here.
