Darian DeVries faced a rebuilding job in his first year as coach at West Virginia and hit the transfer portal to complete a roster. So far, the results have been good as the Mountaineers are off to a 5-2 start after defeating Arizona 83-76 in overtime, with the coach's son, Tucker DeVries, scoring a team-leading 26 points. The Mountaineers also have a signature win over Gonzaga on Nov. 27 as a 15-point underdog. Georgetown has lost its past eight Friday games with a 2-6 ATS record dating to last season. The Hoyas have lost nine of their past ten road games. Georgetown is 7-1 this season while playing a relatively weak schedule, and the Hoyas lost by 21 to Notre Dame. Take West Virginia.
