Furman at E. Tennessee State

East Tennessee State completed two games in their conference tournament without either team reaching the 60-point mark. The latest defensive effort was the 12th time this season an East Tennessee State opponent failed to reach the 60-point mark. The Furman Paladins went three games into the Southern Conference tournament with neither team topping 63 points. The average total in the three-game tourney set for the Paladins was 114 total points per game. It becomes clear what side of the floor these teams rely on for postseason play - defense. Furman brings the "D" on the road as well with six of their last seven roadies UNDER the total. East Tennessee State finished the season with seven of their last nine failing to reach the total. The UNDER is my call.
