Fordham at Connecticut

The UConn Huskies are off to an 8-2 start on the season. Regardless of where they end up in the standings, there will be no postseason as the Huskies are on probation. They have played the good teams tough, but simply don't have the margin for error of past teams, as they are perimeter-oriented. They get out-rebounded almost every game - even vs. the softer teams. They dominated an 0-10 Maryland Eastern Shore team, but struggled vs. New Hampshire, Harvard, and Stony Brook with their widest margin just 11 points in the three games - all at home. Fordham may be just 2-8 on the season, but have rarely been blown out against reasonably good competition. The wins might not be coming, but the Rams are 6-0 ATS in their last six out-of-conference tilts. Play on Fordham.
