Florida A&M at Alcorn State

Many college basketball teams have a big scorer. Florida A&M and Alcorn State, both Southwest Athletic Conference teams, don't fall into that category. Neither school has a player averaging more than 12 points a game. It's a reason why Florida A&M ranks 231st in scoring, 296th in field goal percentage, and 331st in free throw percentage. The Rattlers managed only 60 points in a 20-point loss to Jackson State in their last game. It was the seventh time in their last eight games that the Rattlers failed to score more than 66 points. Alcorn State is even worse. The Braves are 338th in scoring, 311th in field goal percentage, and 301st in free throw percentage.
