Florida International at Middle Tenn State

Florida International has won two in a row, allowing 55 and 60 points. FIU opened up Conference USA play with a hard-fought 62-60 victory over the Florida Atlantic Owls in Boca Raton on Sunday. The Golden Panthers are on  a 3-0-1 ATS run, plus 3-0-1 ATS in their last four road games. They held Florida Atlantic to 38% shooting on the road, including 8-of-27 (29%) from three-point land. This is a veteran team with a strong one-two offensive punch of 6-10 senior Adrian Diaz (14 points per game, 7 rebounds per game) and senior guard Dennis Mavin (16 ppg, 5.4 rpg). Florida International can score too, on a 7-3 run OVER the total, plus 4-1 OVER the total on the road. They face a terrible Middle Tennessee team, one ranked #329 in the nation in scoring, averaging 58.4 ppg and shooting under 39% as a team. Middle Tennessee State is 3-7 ATS against a team with a winning record. Last year's game had 138 points scored in a 70-68 contest.
