Fairfield at Iona

The Metro Atlantic Conference Tournament presents a great opportunity for Fairfield (17-15) and Iona (19-13). The Stags have caught fire down the stretch winning seven straight to turn a 10-15 start into a winning season. It is going to take some offense to take down an Iona team that loves to get out and run, and the Stags had to shoot 53% in their last meeting with the Gaels to steal a three-point win. The Stags, however, were favorites in all of their seven wins down the stretch and will be in a different role tonight in the Final. Iona has shot better than 50% in more than half of their last 15 games, and I think the Stags are going to run out of gas down the stretch tonight. The one weakness for Iona is off the glass as they have been out-rebounded in eight straight games, but did out-rebound the Stags in their last meeting. Play Iona on the moneyline in this one.
