Eastern Washington vs. Yale

Yale comes off a 19-12 season that ended in the NCAA Tournament and the Bulldogs return three starters and several key reserves from that squad. The Bulldogs won their first game on Monday although the opponent was Sarah Lawrence College in what was the equivalent of an exhibition game, but Yale shot 57 percent with Matt Knowling scoring 20 points on 10-for-10 shooting. Eastern Washington lost its opener 84-72 at Santa Clara as the Eagles went just 5-for-21 from 3-point range and lost despite the Broncos shooting only 37 percent overall. Eastern Washington brought in six transfers and it will take time to gain some team chemistry.
