Duke vs. Xavier

Duke is off to a 5-1 start while this afternoon's opponent, Xavier, is off to a 4-1 start. Xavier's lone loss came by a scant two points at Indiana. Duke's only blemish has come against a strong Kansas team by 5 points. These teams are pretty close on the floor but I think Duke has a higher trajectory. Duke does a lot of things right and doesn't beat itself. The Blue Devil in their last 3 games has averaged fewer than 8 turnovers a game. The bigger edge is off the glass where Duke is +17.5 on the season. Xavier is talented enough to make a run here, but ultimately Duke does more things right and should come away with another hard-fought win. Make the play on Duke, on the money line.
