The Denver Pioneers are off to a brutal start. They took their opener but have since dropped 10 straight. There are signs of change, and those lines are working in their favor as they just played a decent Oral Roberts team twice in a row, and covered both games as a double-digit dog. North Dakota State opened the season with five straight losses but have rebounded nicely having evened their record at 7-7. The Bison has not lost the battle off the boards in any of their games since starting 0-5. There is an Achilles heel, however, for this team and that is taking care of the ball.
