VCU has been a top basketball program for many years and closed out another strong regular season at 18-6. The Rams faltered a bit to close the season after 6 straight wins they finished out at 2-2. These teams met just a week ago with Davidson coming away with an 8 point home win. The Wildcats have become a much better team late in the season defying their overall record of 13-7. They won 6 of their final 8 games losing only to regular season Champion St. Bonaventure, and the last meeting vs the Bonnies was by just 3 points. Davidson has really clamped down on the defensive end of the court holding 6 of its last 7 opponents to shoot under 40%. That includes St. Bonaventure and VCU. Davidson is under the radar, and I will make the play on Davidson in this one.
