Davidson at UNC Greensboro

Davidson has really gotten some players that were not a factor last year to step up this year. Stephon Curry has been impressive as a freshman. He is averaging 18.9 ppg and has accumulated 22 steals already. Thomas Sanders, a 6 point scorer from a year ago, had a 30 point, 14 rebound double-double vs Elon. He's one of two players with double-doubles for Davidson. NC Greensboro has been mightily inconsistent in posting a 2-5 record. The one place they have really struggled is putting the ball in the basket, as they are shooting just 39% as a team, and the second leading scorer is hitting under 30%. Davidson scores 80.9 ppg and NC Greensboro struggles for points, and we just don't see how they are going to score enough to stay in this one for 40 minutes. Davidson is also rebounding very well, as they out-rebounded Elon 55-28. Davidson has controlled this series, and it looks like this will be no different this year.
