CS Northridge at Stanford

Cal State Northridge had one starter returning, and it took a while to get some consistency, especially on the offensive end. Still, the Matadors appear to be on their way to another successful season after finishing 22-11 in 2024-25. They have won four in a row while averaging 91.3 points, including 100-88 over Sacramento State on Monday. Josiah Davis led five double-figure scorers with 22 points, and the Matadors shot 52 percent. Larry Hughes Jr. leads the Matadors in scoring (18.4 ppg), 3-pointers (44), and steals (23). Stanford has losses to Seattle and UNLV, although the Cardinal have won their past three. This could be a lookahead spot for them as they have Notre Dame and Louisville coming up next.
