Columbia is a long way from home, and the Ivy League steps up to face the Big 12, a tough matchup. Kansas State coach Bruce Weber has taken a unique approach to a three-game home stand at Bramlage Coliseum to open the regular season, dubbing the “Wildcat Invitational” and likening it to a tournament for his team. Kansas State defeated Maryland Eastern-Shore 80-53 last Friday in its season-opener. The Wildcats are 2-0 all-time against the Ivy League and 6-0 ATS following a win of more than 20 points. Friday’s win marked the 40th time that an opponent has been held to 60 points or less under coach Weber with the Wildcats boasting a 35-5 mark in those contests. Maryland Eastern-Shore connected on just 29.8 percent from the field, including 23.8 percent from 3-point range. Kansas State has a 72-5 (.974) record at home in non-conference play dating back to 2006, including a 70-4 mark during the regular season. The squad has won 61 of its last 64 non-conference home games, so play the home team to win the game. Play Kansas State on the moneyline.
