Arizona coach Sean Miller had a rough offseason as he battled rumors of recruiting violations while losing a number of recruits in the meantime. He has managed to put together another solid group of players that have started the season 9-4 while playing a decent schedule, including Gonzaga and Auburn. The Wildcats are holding opponents to a .423 shooting percentage and 65.5 points per game and with that kind of defense they find themselves battling to the end in almost every game. Arizona did have a close call against UC Davis its last game, but it has had two weeks to fix some problems from that game. Colorado snapped a two-game losing streak with a 68-53 win over lowly Charlotte, but the Buffaloes had not covered the number in their three previous games.
