The Cincinnati Bearcats suffered their first loss of the season after starting 12-0. It was a barnburner as New Mexico got the best of them in a 55-54 decision. Often times it is a letdown when a team suffers its first loss of the season, which won't be a good thing heading to play at Pittsburgh. The Panthers have been menacing at home under Jaime Dixon and seldom lose here. Already this season they are off to a 9-0 start on home hardwood.
