WIN

Canisius is a small team that loves to shoot the three, but can struggle away from home. They just had a trip out West, losing 89-74 at UNLV, got bombed by Syracuse two weeks ago and shot 40% in a loss at Stony Brook. Detroit has won five of six games and also played Syracuse recently, with had a hard fought 72-68 loss. Detroit is dominant home at Calihan Hall, looking to extend its home winning streak to 15-straight games when it hosts Canisius. Detroit boasts one of the most balanced attacks in the nation with all five starters averaging double figures. Junior guard Ray McCallum leads the team in scoring with 18.5 ppg, while Jason Calliste is averaging 12.6 ppg. Seniors Nick Minnerath and Doug Anderson, along with sophomore Juwan Howard fill out the Titan five. All five starters scored in double figures the last game as Detroit had a 74-58 road win topping Alcorn State Wednesday. The Titans used an 18-0 run in the second half to put the game out of reach and will keep their home win streak alive. The Titans have averaged 77.8 points per game over that winning stretch at home, while only allowing opponents to score 65.2 points. Play Detroit on the Money-Line.
