Cal Riverside at Cal Irvine

UC Riverside is not going to be heard from much this season in the Big West, unless you start grabbing the points. Their less-than stellar 4-7 mark is flanked by an imperfect 0-5 mark on the road. As the losses mount for this team, the numbers go up, and they are a competitive team beyond the won/loss record. They have now covered their last four and five of their last six. They are also muscling-up taking double digits at 4-0 ATS in their last four, winning one of the games outright, and hanging within 7 points and 3 points in two others. The Anteaters have dropped two straight and are in an extreme role reversal - a spot teams don't usually fare well, going from double-digit dog, to double-digit favorite. They have bested the number at home in just three of their last 11. I'll backing UC Riverside.
