Cal Irvine at UCLA

The UCLA Bruins will always generate interest from bettors, as the program has had so much success over the years. The name itself speaks of excellence. The problem is that this team is far from those standards, and come in here at home just 5-5 on the season. Losses to Texas, Michigan and Kansas are understandable, but losses to a Sun Belt team at home and to Loyola Marymount speak of problems. They also had a struggle beating an Ivy League team in Penn where they won by just 4 on a neutral court. UC Irvine has just two wins on the season, but are an under-the-radar team because of it as they are 6-2-1 ATS and a perfect 3-0 ATS taking +10 or more. They have now gone 5-0-1 ATS in their last six when taking +13 points or more. The Bruins follow an ATS win with a lemon at 9-23-1 ATS in their last 33. UCLA has not proven to be the quality of team to be heavy chalk here. Take UC Irvine.
