Bowling Green at Akron

Akron hasn't played since Dec. 22 when it beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 76-60 in a game that went UNDER by 9.5 points. Isaiah Johnson led five players in double figures with 15 points for the Zips, who held the Hawks to 39.0 percent from the field. Bowling Green defeated Norfolk State with Wes Alcegaire scoring 17 points for the Falcons, who shot 52.1 percent but are shooting only 41.8 percent for the season. BGSU allows 72.4 points per game and Akron only 69.3 and both teams allow nearly a .440 shooting percentage. The UNDER is 39-15-1 in Akron's last 55 home games and eight of the last 10 meetings in Akron have stayed UNDER. Also, the Zips are 4-1 UNDER after a win. Look for Bowling Green's shooting to cool off and Akron to be a little rusty after the long layoff. Play the UNDER.
