Auburn at South Alabama

The Auburn Tigers will take their 2-0 start on the road vs. in-state rival South Alabama who has also started at 2-0. The Tigers program has been on a serious up-tick under Bruce Pearl who is a great recruiter and although he lost three starters from last season, his team will not skip a beat as they are ranked #22 in the country. South Alabama is totally reliant on Josh Ajayi who poured in 30 points vs. Southern Miss in the previous game. Auburn has guards that are great defenders and limited a pair of potent Davidson scorers. I think they contain Ajayi and there isn't enough help for the Jags to threaten here. Take Auburn.
