The Oregon Ducks will host the Toledo Rockets in the Legend's Classic in Eugene. Oregon will certainly have the best player on the court for this one in Joesph Young. Young is the top returning scorer in the PAC-12 this season, as he poured in 18.9 points per game last year and is off to a blistering start at 27 ppg. The Ducks have gotten a pleasant surprise, and complimentary scorer in freshman Dillon Brooks who has netted 14 ppg in his first two games. Toledo lost by 9 points to a very good VCU team in their last time out. This is a pretty good team that lost in the MAC Championship game a year ago, and went on to the NIT. Oregon likes to get up and down the court, and depends on a lot of three-pointers, but against Detroit they made just 9-of-33. Toledo is not going to allow this game to get into a track meet, especially on the road. They have a strong floor general in Julius Brown who averaged 6 assists per game a season ago, and is equipped to slow the pace. Oregon has held its first two opponents in the 60s, while Toledo will take note of letting the pace get out of control vs. VCU, and slow things down here, as they actually led at halftime. The Rockets have not been a very good road team at 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine roadies, and just 1-7 ATS in their last eight following a spread win. The Ducks take care of business at home where they are 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven, and despite the high-scoring mentality, they are 14-6 to the UNDER in their last 20. Play Oregon and the UNDER in this one as my CBB November Total of the Month.
