The Notre Dame Fighting irish have done just that, fight. They well could of packed it in when they lost their leading scorer Tim Abromitis to a knee injury, but they have gotten stronger. This is a team that realizes they have a few holes on the offensive end with the void left behind by an injury, have really slowed things down and ramped up the "D". They have won their last four games and have held teams to an average of less than 52ppg. When you consider the fact that three of the four teams are Connecticut, Marquette, and Syracuse, you get the idea how good the defense is playing.
