Northern Iowa Panthers vs Vermont Catamounts Point Spread Picks

Northern Iowa got off to a bad start, shooting only 30 percent and hitting just three of 23 attempts from 3-point range in a losing effort against Nicholls State on Tuesday. However, the Panthers are picked to finish near the top of the Missouri Valley Conference with the return of AJ Green, who missed most of last season due to a hip injury. Their Top 10 scorers also are back. Vermont finished 10-5 in 2020-21, but lost to Hartford in the conference tournament and the Catamounts were just 1-4 ATS their last five games. Northern Iowa was playing well at the end of the season winning three of their last four games, but then had to cancel a game against Drake in the MVC tournament due to COVID-19 protocol. Look for the Panthers to shoot much better than in their opener, and play Northern Iowa.
