Purdue allows 69.4 points and 41.7 percent shooting and it was No. 2 in the Big Ten in 3-point defense allowing just 31.7 percent although most of N.C. State's scoring comes from inside. Only a combined 48 points were scored in the first half against Duke and Marquette scored just 24 before intermission. The Boilermakers have also stayed UNDER their past two games and by an average of 8.8 points and they held Tennessee to 39 percent shooting. They have beaten some decent teams, with wins over Boise State, and Richmond, so they're not feasting on all early season cupcakes. They will take part in the ACC vs. Big-10 Challenge tonight at 5-1 Purdue. NC State has a trio of guards that can all score as they each average at least 12.5 points per game, and they have a big man on defense in 6-foot-9 Bee Jay Anya, who has already blocked 23 shots on the season. The Wolfpack owns a 4-0 record against Purdue, including 2-0 in the conference challenge games. This will be the first road game for NC State, but they are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 after playing at least three straight at home.
