The Missouri Tigers were shocked in their opener as they fell to Missouri Kansas City 69-61. They won their second game, but did not look good in the process of a 56-41 win over Valparaiso. The defense played great in their second game, while the outside shots just wouldn't fall, and as long as they defend as they did vs. Valpo, this team will fare well until the shots start falling. Oral Roberts moved into the Southland Conference last season, and they have a very young and inexperienced team that may be good enough to compete in the Southland, but are in a bit over their heads for this one. The Tigers have defended the three-point line well, limiting opponents to 10-32 shooting from dee, and will have one of the best defenses in the SEC this season. That's all a bit much for the young and inexperienced Golden Eagles to overcome, venturing on the road. Play on Missouri.
