The Missouri St Bears are 10-8 on the season. The Bears should probably have a better record if they could shoot 3's better, as they are connecting at 30% on the season. The other area is their free-throw shooting, which is a rather low 67% on the season. New Mexico St. is 10-7 on the season. These teams are fairly close in terms of stats, but Missouri State is playing much better. The Bears are 6-3 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last 9 games. The Aggies got off to a quick start at 6-0, but have been just 4-8 in their last 12 games. I think the Bears have become the better team, and I will back Missouri St. in this one.

The New Mexico State Aggies are off of back-to-back wars vs. huge in-state rival New Mexico. I doubt that they will have much energy to spill into this out-of-conference tilt vs. Missouri State. The Aggies gave it all in the two games vs. New Mexico, and fell short in both of them, dropping them under .500 for the season. It looks like a down year for the Bears as they are 2-9 to start the season, and 0-9 vs. Division-1 competition. A good barometer, however, is an overtime loss to South Carolina, and a 20-point loss to Oklahoma State. Both of those teams are better than New Mexico State who will probably have an emotional hangover after a pair with New Mexico. The Aggies are just 2-7 ATS after an ATS loss, and will struggle to take down the big number here. Play on Missouri State.
