Minnesota Golden Gophers vs St. John's Red Storm Point Spread Picks

The Minnesota Golden Gophers suffered through a brutal campaign in 2015-16, winning just eight games. They had averaged 22 wins per season in the previous four. They have started fast at 3-0, but have not been truly tested. St. John's used to be the hub of college basketball in NYC, but the program has really taken a detour, and the Red Storm has not been able to get back to that high level in years. They are also off a woeful 8-23 season, but have gone 2-0 to open this year's campaign, but they were playing a couple of cupcakes. St. John's was particularly disturbing on the road last year with a 1-14 SU record, but looking closer that win was vs. Chaminade, a team below the FBS level, and the Red Storm finished 0-14 SU vs. equal level of competition. I don't think they have grown up yet, so take Minnesota on the moneyline.
