Rick Pitino is now coaching St. John's and that means a new lease on life for the Red Storm and likely more wins after they finished 18-15 last season. Pitino already has brought in some talented transfers and the Red Storm have Joel Soriano back for a fifth season after he averged 15.2 points and 11.9 rebounds. St. John's already has a blowout win under its belt after clobbering Stony Brook 90-74 on Tuesday and Soriano scored 22 points and it shot 52 percent from the field and hit 11 of 22 from 3-point range. Michigan lost some key players from the 2022-23 squad and will have many new faces vying for jobs and this will be its first road game after the Wolverines feasted on NC Asheville and Youngstown State.
