Michigan State had to overcome a lot of injuries this season as well as an ultra-competitive Big-10 Conference which saw nine teams make the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State finished 15-12 just good enough to make the play-in game vs UCLA. Michigan State shoots the ball poorly so they have to defend well and have done a good job of that. UCLA was sailing along at 17-5 until they lost their last four games and barely squeaked into the Tournament as a play-in team. UCLA has played a low possession game through most of the season which is a Mic Cronin staple, something he used for success at Cincinnati. I look for a rough physical game, with below-average possessions and will make the play on the UNDER.
