At 8-3, Marquette will have one final tune up at home before they ready themselves for Big East Conference play. With Seton Hall, Georgetown, and Villanova all looming in their next three games, and Christmas break right around the corner, it is hard to see them playing their "A" game vs SIU Edwardsville. The Cougars are a poor shooting team, and have shot 38.3% or less in six of their last nine games, and that is not a recipe for taking down a rather high total set for this one. This is a team that managed only 60 points vs. Indiana in their only step-up to a power-5 conference.
