Marist Red Foxes vs Providence Friars Point Spread Picks

The Providence Friars are off to a 2-0 start which could easily be 0-2. They beat Boston College in overtime, and struggled at home vs. a sub-par Brown team by squeaking out a 4-point win as a -13.5 point favorite. Marist is still looking for their first win as they enter at 0-3. Chavaughn Lewis has carried the scoring load for the Red Foxes at 17.7 points per game. The biggest issue for the Friars is depth, as this team goes just six deep. Even if they get a big lead there is a good chance for a backdoor cover here, as the Friars' second five has had very little floor time. The Red Foxes have an excellent track record vs. the Big East where they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10, while the Friars have been no-shows vs. the Metro Atlantic, where they are a dismal 2-8 ATS in their last 10. Marist gets the call in this one.
