Liberty Flames vs North Carolina A&T Aggies Point Spread Picks

The CIT Tournament quickly gets underway as Liberty plays host to North Carolina A&T this eveing. The surface says this is an even match up with both teams conming in at 20-14 on the season. Liberty has played somewhat of a more challenging schedule, and is at home, so they should get the nod here to win, but I call into question the double-digit line here. Liberty wasn't exactly playing their best basketball down the stretch where they finished at 3-3 in their last six games. Their biggest problem in recent games is turnovers, as well as lack of showing the ability to turnover their opponents. Liberty lost the turnover battle in their last two games by a woeful 28-11 margin. North Carolina A&T is 5-3 in their last eight games and have played reasonably well. North Carolina A&T has shot the ball poorly most of the season, and Liberty defends quite well, especially of late holding each of their last four oponents to 36% shooting or less. This looks like a low scoring affair, and double-digit dogs in lower scoring games are advantaged for obvious reasons. These teams seldom have lined games, but they both have in their last three, resulting in five of six playing UNDER the total. Make the play on North Carolina A&T and the UNDER in this one.
