Iowa State Cyclones vs LSU Tigers Point Spread Picks

Iowa State got off to a 12-0 start in coach TJ Otzelberger's first year at the school, but then the Cyclones were forced to play tougher competition as they headed into conference play and they are only 8-12 since. The Cyclones have lost their last three games, including a humiliating 53-36 defeat against Oklahoma when they shot only 28.3 percent. It didn't get any better in the Big 12 tournament as they lost 72-41 to Texas Tech. LSU is 22-11 and 14-19 UNDER this season and it has won three of its last five games although the Tigers did lose to Arkansas in the conference tournament. The Tigers have four double-figure scorers led by Tari Eason with 16.9 points per game and Darius Days averages 13.6 points and 7.7 rebounds. Iowa State is 1-5-1 ATS after losing by at least 20 points and 2-5 ATS versus a .600 or higher team and 5-1 UNDER its past six games against .600 schools. LSU is 13-3 UNDER its past 16 NCAA Tournament games, including 7-1 UNDER as a favorite. LSU allows only 63.5 points on 38.7 percent shooting and both teams allow 28.7 points in the first half. The Tigers are a small favorite, but go with LSU on the money line and the first half UNDER and the full game UNDER.
