Fordham Rams vs Syracuse Orange Point Spread Picks

The Syracuse Orange will put their No. 5 ranking to the test in their opener vs. Fordham. The Rams’ program has fallen on hard times and has only been able to generate two wins in the A-10 over the last four seasons. They are led by Chris Gaston a double-double player from a year ago. The problem is that he has no other help to lessen the burden on the boards and scoring. That will be troubling vs. a team the caliber of Syracuse who is deep and athletic enough to key on Gaston and limit his good looks. The result is not very appealing if you’re a Fordham fan. The Cuse has a lot of experience, and this is not an easy place to play for a team not used to the background, extending Fordham's struggles here to compete. The Rams are a woeful 22-50-3 ATS in their last 75, and aren't likely to improve upon that here. The route is on, Syracuse by plenty.
