Florida International Panthers vs Howard Bison Point Spread Picks

The 2-2 Howard Bison will take to the road to play Florida International. The Panthers have opened the season at 1-2. Howard has been able to score, but the defense has not been good at all as the Bison is allowing over 82ppg. They are going to have to put more effort into the defensive end of the court, especiaklly in this game as the Panthers are posting better than 85ppg, and to this point of the season have also been a much better rebounding team than Howard. Howard is just 2-10 ATS when they take on a good ballhandling team that turns the ball over fewer than 14 times a game. I like Florida International here.

The Howard Bison appear to be heading for a rough season at 4-8. They have just two wins vs Div 1-level opponents and those wins were by a combined five points. They have suffered six double-digit losses including a loss to Yale by 46 points. Florida International is an excellent shooting team at 49.4% on the season, as they average nearly 80 PPG. Howard will have a lot of trouble stopping the Panthers' offense as they allow 47.3% shooting against them on the season. The Bison at home is allowing opponents to shoot 40.8% from deep, as well. I like Florida International on the moneyline.
