Duke Blue Devils vs Lehigh Mountain Hawks

Most have looked at this line and jumped-in heavily on Duke like they already know the final score, with numbers approaching 80%. It always looks easy when you have a team that is in the national limelight every single year. I'm not ready to jump in. The Blue Devils have had their share of successes in the tournament under Coach K. for sure, but let's not forget a 1-point win vs. Belmont in a tourney opener, a loss to VCU in the first round, and a 10-point first round win vs. Colorado St. The fact is that as a tourney favorite of -9.5 to -20 over the last 12 years Duke is 3-12 ATS. Lehigh won 26 games this season, and can play - just ask Michigan State who trailed them by 3 at the half, before winning by just 9 and that was at home. The Mountain Hawks are 8-0 ATS in their last eight vs. a winning team. This is also not a vintage Duke offensive team. Last season Duke put up 80+ on 19 different occasions and this season the Blue Devils have managed to do so just 12 times, as they lost a lot of firepower, but still play intensely on the defensive end. The fact is that Duke has scored 70 or less in each of their last three games, and I wouldn't look for Lehigh to get into a track meet here. Play this one on Lehigh and the UNDER.
