Duke Blue Devils vs Indiana Hoosiers Point Spread Picks

Indiana and new coach Archie Miller are catching Duke at a good time as the Blue Devils are coming off a couple of tough tournament wins in Portland, OR. over the weekend and now travel again to play three days later. Marvin Bagley III has been outstanding for the Blue Devils and he finished with 30 points and 15 rebounds in their win over Florida on Sunday. Indiana has won three in a row and covered the spread the last two, including 87-67 over Eastern Michigan when the Hoosiers shot 53.4 percent and 12-of-21 from three-point range. Robert Johnson led the Hoosiers with 18 points and Josh Newkirk added 17 points. Both teams are holding opponents in the low 40s in defensive field goal percentage and Indiana has gone UNDER four of its last five against ACC teams and five of its last six against teams with winning road records dating to last season. Indiana had a disappointing showing in the Maui Invitational, losing two of three games, including a 72-69 loss to UNLV in the final round. However, the Hoosiers bounced back with a 112-70 win over Alcorn State on Monday as James Blackmon Jr. poured in 33 points and six players scored in double figures. The Hoosiers shot a blistering 67.2 percent from the field and made 15-of-26 three-pointers. It's very unlikely for a team to stay that hot in consecutive games, especially at a place such as Duke. The Blue Devils have won four in a row after a loss to Kentucky and held Utah State to 33.3 percent from the field in Sunday's 85-52 win. Grayson Allen and Luke Kennard led Duke with 22 points each and Amile Jefferson grabbed nine rebounds.  The Blue Devils also had a big shooting day with a .556 field goal percentage, including 53.3 percent from beyond the arc.
