The Idaho State Bengals appear to be no match for California, as the Bengals have started the season 1-7. That looks even worse as they are 0-7 SU and 0-7 ATS vs Division I opponents. After suffering three straight losses by 15 or more points, there are some positive signs, though. The Bengals have been more competitive of late, as they have lost their last three by a combined 22 points. Cal is just 4-5 on the season. Two of those wins came by just seven points vs Southern Utah and five points to San Diego, and they lost to Cal San Diego as a -14.5 point favorite by a margin of 13 points. I think the Bengals record has pushed the line here too much, and will go with Idaho State to keep this one from getting away.
