Cal Poly SLO Mustangs vs TCU Horned Frogs Point Spread Picks

TCU gets a break opening the season against the Cal Poly Mustangs. The Mustangs are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 0-8 ATS in their last eight road games. TCU brings in a new coach in Trent Johnson, who comes to Fort Worth after spending four seasons at LSU. Johnson proved he could win at both Nevada and Stanford, taking both programs to Sweet 16 berths. They have a nice low post newcomer in sophomore forward Devonta Abron, an Arkansas transfer. He started 22 games at Arkansas last season, averaging 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. There are stellar recruits in place and the Horned Frogs are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, so look for a huge effort by the young team for the new coach in front of their home fans.
