Boise State Broncos vs Montana Grizzlies Point Spread Picks

Montana made an appearance in the NIT last season, and have a solid group of returnees, but the biggest question mark early on for this squad will be how do they replace the loss of graduated senior and leading scorer Jordan Gregory? It may take some time to replace the leadership and scoring, so Montana could be vulnerable early. They also have to open the season without Mario Dunn who averaged 8.8 points per game last year, as he is injured.  Boise State will start a four-star recruit with a lot of upside at point guard in Paris Austin, and the offense should be in good hands. He has the advantage over Walter Wright, also making his debut tonight for the Grizzlies. James Webb is a difference maker inside for the Broncos as well, and has all the skills to be an NBA prospect, and Montana just doesn't have anyone with the quickness and athleticism to slow him down. These teams both have potential to be NCAA Tournament teams, but early on the Broncos appear to have the edge inside and out. Lay the points on Boise State.
