Arizona State Sun Devils vs S. Utah Thunderbirds Point Spread Picks

Southern Utah returns zero starters but has several transfers that give the Thunderbirds hope for improvement after a 12-19 season in 2024-25. Isaiah Cottrell will get a chance for plenty of playing time after stints at UNLV and West Virginia, and Zach Bell will bring his playmaking abilities from Jacksonville. Arizona State will also have mostly a new roster, which may be a good thing after the Sun Devils finished 13-20 while allowing 76.8 points per game. The five new starters must improve offensively compared to last year's squad, which averaged 74.1 points and shot just 43.9 percent overall and 35.6 percent from 3-point range.
