Albany Great Danes vs Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers Point Spread Picks

Both of these teams finished just above the middle of the pack in their respective conference. The Great Danes finished #4 in the American East, and Mount St. Mary's finished #5 in the Northeast. They both, however, got it done in their conference tournament to earn a spot in the play-in round of the Big Dance. Albany played much better on the defensive end late in the season, and is the reason they are here. But, they will be challenged significantly tonight vs. the very competent offense of Mount St. Mary's. The Mountaineers led the NEC in scoring at 76.3 points per game, and knocked down 284 from deep along the way. Mount St. Marys has a lot of experience, and is one of only eight teams in Division-1 that boast three players all with over 1,000 career points. They have not been reliant on the 3, however, as the Mountaineers are a perfect 5-0 when they make less than six from deep. Too many ways to beat you, which does not bode well for Albany, so play Mount St. Mary's on the moneyline.
