Xavier is unbeaten after impressive victories over Michigan and Missouri, alongside a sloppy 78-66 triumph against Northern Kentucky. The Musketeers are 5-1 ATS at neutral sites and 12-5 ATS against the SEC. Xavier is outstanding on defense, 27-13 UNDER the total after a spread loss, plus 6-1 UNDER at neutral sites. Alabama lost its top three scorers from last season's team and first-year coach Avery Johnson is looking for daily improvement from a young group. The Crimson Tide have seven freshmen and sophomores on the roster and got thumped by Dayton, 80-48. Alabama is 1-5 ATS at neutral sites, plus 7-21-2 ATS following a straight up win. Xavier leads the series 4-3, with victories in the last two meetings, including a 97-84 triumph last season. Alabama is off a win where the offense topped 100, but the Tide is 4-1 UNDER after topping 100 and 10-4 UNDER after topping 90.
